HMS Anson, was built by Swan Hunter, and launched on the 24th February 1940, She spent most of her time in the Home Fleet on Convoy Duty on the Murmansk Convoy Route. and was transferred top the Pacific Fleet in September 1945 but was not used, HMS Anson was a Guard ship at Tokyo and saw duty off Australia from January to July 1946. she was scrapped at Faslane on the 17th December 1957.
